SHIPPING
Returns, Changes, and Cancellations Most jewelry is handmade to order, so please consider this as you finalize your selection. If you are unhappy with your purchase, please notify us of your return within 48 hours of receiving your piece via info@costolo.com
In stock pieces, and orders cancelled within 3 days are eligible for a full refund to the original payment method. All refunds for made to order pieces of jewelry will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. For international orders, return shipping fees will be the responsibility of the customer.
Some items are not eligible for return, such as rings in small or large sizes, pieces with engraving, and scratched or worn items.
Please allow 3-5 business days after we have received your return for the funds to be reissued to your original payment method.
FULFILLMENT
Because most jewelry is handmade to order, we cannot guarantee exact shipping dates. Our regular lead time for made to order pieces is 1-4 weeks from the purchase date.
If a piece is marked as ready to ship it will ship out within 1-3 business days. Please allow 1 week for your in-stock piece to ship if you have requested an engraving. An email notification with your tracking number will be sent to you when your order ships.
Insurance All orders by default include Route shipping insurance, which is added to your cart at checkout for 2.5% of your order value. This will cover your package against loss, theft, or damage. We strongly recommend this option, especially for orders valued over $500. If you would prefer to opt out of coverage, you can do so via the toggle button at the bottom of the cart side bar.
If your package is lost, stolen, or damaged and you did not protect it with Route, we will do everything we can to assist you, however, we are no longer responsible for packages once they are in transit.
Shipping Options Our domestic shipping carrier is Fedex
All shipping fees will be quoted in the shopping cart before finalizing your order.
UPS — We offer domestic shipping via UPS Ground, UPS 3-Day Select, UPS 2nd Day Air, and UPS Overnight, based on the customer's selection at checkout. Ground shipping is free with any purchase over $250, and otherwise costs a base rate of $5. Ground shipping transit time is 2-5 business days.
FLAVORCLOUD — We partner with Flavorcloud to be able to ship to as many countries as possible. You can find a list of countries we ship to at checkout.
Flavorcloud charges VAT upfront, so all duties and taxes will be paid along with your shipping at checkout. They also select the optimal shipping carrier based on your location, to give you the best shipping rates possible. This means quicker transit times, and smoother clearance through customs. You will not be charged any additional fees upon delivery.
We offer both Express and Standard shipping via Flavorcloud. Standard shipping usually takes from 3-12 business days, while Express shipments arrive in 1-5 business days.
SHIPSI — Shipsi Instant Delivery is an alternative to traditional shipping that allows you to get your order within hours. The option to select SHIPSI at checkout will only appear to customers within 15 miles of our downtown Los Angeles Studio, during our fulfillment business hours (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 10:00-3:00).
You will be provided with a tracking number and a link when your order is being fulfilled. You can track the status of your order through this link until it is delivered.
Address Changes If you need to change your shipping address before your order is shipped please promptly email info@costolo.com. We are not able to redirect orders once they are in transit, in this event please contact the carrier and reference your tracking number for any special delivery requests.
For our domestic customers we recommend signing up for UPS My Choice, a free service that allows better visibility and more control over the transit of your package. Through UPS My Choice, you will be able to have your package held at a UPS location, and redirect to a new delivery address while the package is in transit.
Warranty and Repairs Our warranty policy covers all defects in materials or workmanship for one year. Damage due to neglect, abuse, or natural wear and tear will be repaired at cost and charged to the customer. Pricing for repairs begins at $70 and is subject to a lead time of 2-4 weeks.
